In My Mailbox #3

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme started over at The Story Siren (and honestly, I don't know why I keep explaining when you surely know about it better than I do, but anyway).

So, what is new and coming this week? Check it out!

What do you think? Some good old adventure for an old time gamer like me, and some supernatural romance of the watery kind! I've been really looking forward to these books, so I can't wait to get started on them. The Pathfinder is from NetGalley, the rest are my own. Stay tuned for the reviews!

  3. Loved the second cover, but I don't think I've heard about this book. Anyway, Tempest Rising looks good too!

  4. Hi Rose,

Actually, the second book, Seven tears into the sea -which cover, I agree, is amazing-, is similar in theme to Tempest Rising... Well, at least both feature Selkies, one of my favorite myths ever.

The review for Tempest will be up soon, so stay tuned! Seven tears will eventually make it to the list, too.

  8. Hello Laine!

Yeah, the cover the Tempest is cool - though I'll freely admit that it was the Selkies who bought me over! The review will be up tomorrow or so, hope you'll like it.

I'll be tuned for Wither! Happy reading!

  9. Have to say I love the Tempest cover too, also I'm kind of addicted to Net Galley. Did you notice The Iron Knight is on Net Galley now? I know their requirement say six months or what not but I kind of stopped looking at those and just request to see what will happen. A lot of the publishers will approve you anyway regardless of what they say in requirements. The way I see it the worst they can do is say no. For the most part they don't which is why I've got tons from there to review.

  10. Thanks for letting me know about that! I was really scared about requesting it, because they'd say "no" but perhaps if I waited a bit, my blog got closer to their requeriments and then they'd say "yes". But then I read your comment and also thought they might take the book off the request section, so I took a deep breath and requested it. And I just got the approval! I'll be featuring Iron Knight and a couple other Galleys this week.
