The Elemental Mysteries Blog Tour is hosted by A Tale of Many Reviews, and I'm very proud to be one of today's stops. Please, follow this link to see the full schedule and join the fun with plenty of interesting content: character interviews, reviews, giveaways and more! Here in Stories of my Life we're going to share an excerpt of the awesomeness that is book 3, The Force of Wind -and trust me when I say it is awesome. Want to know what it's all about? Here you go:
If you're wondering how much I loved the first two books, you can check out my undying love for them both here:How far would you go to protect the ones you love?
What would you sacrifice to kill the one you hate?
Join Giovanni Vecchio and Beatrice De Novo as they travel to a hidden island on the far edge of China to seek the help of an ancient immortal court. Can they weave their way through the tangled web of centuries-old alliances and ruthless feuds to find what they’ve been looking for? Friends will be revealed, enemies will find them, and a dangerous secret will come to light.
The third book in the Elemental Mysteries series will see Giovanni and Beatrice joined by a group of unlikely allies as they explore the history and myth of the far East. Many have been stolen, but only one holds the key.
The Force of Wind is the third book in the four-part Elemental Mysteries series. It is the sequel to This Same Earth and is a paranormal mystery/romance for adult readers.
A Hidden Fire review
This Same Earth review
I've talked enough. Let me give you what you really want now... The excerpt from The Force of Wind! And, I must say, it's one scene I loved so very much!
Baojia
was encouraging and smiled a little as they put the weapons away. “You’ll be
ready within a year after you turn, I think. Given what you are learning now
and your natural aptitude for weapons, you will be ready to wield these as soon
as your reflexes catch up with your mind and your amnis.”
“What
do you mean, ‘catch up with my amnis?’”
Baojia
shook his head. “It’s impossible to explain to a mortal. Even a bright one like
you would not understand it.”
She
grimaced. “Oh, well, I guess I should be flattered you’re willing to teach a
mere mortal like me anyway.”
“Yes.”
He smiled and walked behind her to stretch her arms. “You should be. I usually
don’t bother with humans.”
“So
why me? Ernesto’s orders, huh?”
She
couldn’t see him as he lifted her arms, stretching them before they moved into
hand-to-hand combat practice.
“Why
you?” he murmured. “What an interesting question…”
That
I notice you’re not answering.
“Yeah,
well, I’m Miss Popular for some reason. Even the bad guy wants to hang out with
me.”
Want more of that? Then, it's your lucky day because I'm allowed to give away one e-copy of The Force of Wind!

OKay, so I haven't read A Hidden Fire, but I joined Kristin's giveaway for book 2. Now you're giving away book 3! This is awesome. I know you both loved the series so I'm going to try and see it for myself :) But I need the book one! LOL. I'm going to check some stops to see if I can have a chance to win... hehe.
Thank you for the giveaway. =) Xoxo!
